The Third Authentic Maldives Outlet Launches In Male’.
On 13th March 2021, Business Center Corporation opened their third outlet of Authentic Maldives, in M. Kaneeru Villa, in Malé.
The shop was opened by the Managing Director of BCC, Ms. Fazleena Fakir and State Minister Neeza Imad, along with special invitees, the Japanese Ambassador HE Keiko Yanai & the Resident Representative of UNDP Maldives, Ms. Akiko Fujii.
Business Center Corporation’s aim remains the same when it comes to Authentic Maldives: To further emphasize and shed light on the positive impact of SME’s on the economic performance of the Maldives and the power that SME’s have to create employment opportunities for locals, and to facilitate market access for local producers.
What was once conceptualized as a simple duty-free shop, has since turned into the most dynamic and engaged project of the organization. The core vision of Authentic Maldives is to facilitate the journey of entrepreneurship for local creatives by improving market accessibility. The initiative has been successful, with Authentic Maldives now showcasing products from over 70 individual vendors.
With the intent to increase its services, BCC pledges to create more opportunities for entrepreneurs in the Maldives.
