A local NGO that has been up and running since 2005, Live & Learn Environmental Education has conducted a series of small to large scale projects that covers environmental management and resilience building, gender and empowerment of women and capacity building and training. They recruit and support local artisans that create products such as locally crafted mats (thundu kunaa), wooden vessels/containers, artwork depicting local life and many more, all of which are created with the culture, history, environment, and biodiversity of Maldives embedded in every product.
The objective of their fair trade activities are to provide support to women working from home across the country
